The display consists of a housing which is provided with a translucent sheet for displaying the advertisement posters. The translucent sheet is wound onto a roller from which it can be unwound. The roller is provided with a drive and it may also be provided with a brake. A light source is installed inside the housing and a protective window is fitted over the translucent sheet. The posters which are attached to the translucent sheet are provided with elastic fastenings which are so arranged that when the posters are in place there is no residual tension in the fastenings. ADVANTAGE - The absence of tension in the fastening elements enables the thickness of the material of the posters to be reduced.
