The mixer chamber (4) is set at the front of a housing (1) which is connected to an air supply (C) and contains, next to the mixer chamber, a foaming cartridge (9) with interconnected openings of relatively small dia. A foam pipe (11) is set in the rear side wall (3) of the housing. The detergent pipe has one or more outlet openings at its front end in the mixer chamber. The consistency and fine porosity of the foam are determined by the type of cleaning agent, the amount and pressure of air, and the vol. and size of the openings in the foaming cartridge.
