Wheel suspension for the steerable wheels of a vehicle having a wheel support (2) and a damper strut (4) rotatably connected about a vertical axis (8) with the wheel support and joined to a cross linkage (9) to move about a swivel axis (10). The cross linkage is coupled on the vehicle side by a Cardan joint (11) and in addition an inclined member (13) connected to the vehicle by a similar joint supports the wheel in the longitudinal direction; the inclined member is connected to the joint (14) on the wheel support. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle suspension suitable for driven, steered wheels having outstandingly large installation space for brakes.
