Olefinically unsaturated compounds containing from 7 to 24% by weight of urethane groups and from 5 to 17% by weight of isocyanate groups which are bonded to tertiary carbon atoms which are themselves part of a cycloaliphatic ring, a process for the preparation of copolymers containing isocyanate groups by copolymerising these olefinically unsaturated compounds with other monomers containing no isocyanate groups, the resultant copolymers containing isocyanate groups, and coating agents or sealants containing these copolymers as the binder component.
