Single-axle bogie for rail vehicle - has parallel guide bars in longitudinal bogie direction, elastically fastened to beam, to pivot it about bogie pin
The bogie frame incorporates a transverse beam (3) and a transverse girder (2b), with intermediate guide bars (5,5',6) or steering triangles on a console (9). The bars are elastically fastened to beam and girder, so that the beam is pivoted about the bogie pin (4). A central console on the girder accommodates damper elements connected to the vehicle body frame. A vertically and horizontally active shock absorber (11,12) is located between girder and vehicle body frame. Radial adjustment of the wheel set is limited by turning about the bogie pin by an elastic turning limiter (10) on either side of the console. USE/ADVANTAGE - Single-axle bogie for e.g. Diesel railcars. Improvement in running characteristics. Reduced wear of wheelsets.
