An application of elastic wheel/rail bi-contact theory to the hunting of bogie

摘要

The hunting of bogie is simulated. The elastic wheel/rail bi-contact theory is applied. The limit cycles for bogie hunting are analyzed. The hunting movement on a track which has random alignment irregularities is studied.
