PURPOSE: To provide a compact steaming device by which a steamed food without unevenness can be obtained, and the constitution of which is simple, when a food of a high quality is obtained by steaming a raw material grain. ;CONSTITUTION: The steaming device is equipped with a container 5 to store a raw material grain 2 and water 8, which is formed of a sheet with numerous fine holes, and a tank 12 which removably contains the container 5. In the tank 12, steam 21 is fed to the above-mentioned container 5 from the bottom side.
