PURPOSE: To achieve that a welding strain amount remaining in a panel is detected safely, accurately and quantitatively. ;CONSTITUTION: In a panel-strain-amount measuring apparatus, a reinforcement material 5 is welded onto a panel steel plate 4 for a structure, a welding strain generated in a panel is corrected by a strain removal machine and a welding strain amount remaining in the panel is then detected. The measuring apparatus is composed of a plurality of laser displacement meters 19 which are arranged at intervals along the conveyance direction of the panel on the upstream side in the conveyance direction of the panel in the strain removal machine and by keeping an interval from the rear surface of the panel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
