PURPOSE: To selectively introduce the water at an optional depth with a high selectivity. ;CONSTITUTION: A cylinder gate introduces water from the intake 7 of an intake section 6 opened in one horizontal direction, and the intake section 6 fixed at the top section 8 of a cylinder 4a on the uppermost stage of the cylinder gate is constituted of an intake section lower plate 9 stretched into a fan shape from the top section 8 toward the intake 7 of the intake section 6, a vertical tubular intake section side plate 11 vertically slidably provided in the watertight state with the peripheral edge of the intake section lower plate 9, and an intake section upper plate 12 fixed at the upper section of the intake section side plate 11.
