A ELISA METHOD WITH COMPETITIVE INHIBITION IS DESCRIBED TO DETERMINE ANTI-SPOROZOITE ANTIBODIES OF PLASMODIUM FALCIPARUM IN SAMPLES OF HUMAN BLOOD AND IN MUSQUITO EXHIBITIONS, LA INSTITUTE, UNI-ENTIO OF THE COMPLEX BETWEEN THE ABSORBED SYNTHETIC ANTIGEN IN THE PLATE AND THE ANTIBODY CONTAINED IN THE SAMPLE, THE SYNTHETIC PEPTIDE (NANP) 20 IN A WEIGHT RELATION OF AT LEAST 20: 1 REGARDING THE ADSORBED ANTIGEN. DUE TO ITS HIGH SPECIFICITY, SENSITIVITY AND SPEED, THIS METHOD IS ESPECIALLY SUITABLE FOR EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDIES ON MALARIA.
