A process for the in vitro diagnosis of human cytomegalovirus infections and use of monoclonal antibodies against cytomegalovirus viruses, which react with a cytomegalovirus induced protein kinase.
A process for the in vitro diagnosis of human cytomegalovirus infections and use of monoclonal antibodies against cytomegalovirus viruses, which react with a cytomegalovirus induced protein kinase.
The invention relates to a method for diagnosing, in vitro to human cytomegalovirus infection. The method consists in contacting cells as carriers of the infection with a monoclonal antibody that react with a polypeptide of continuation 68.000, induced by the human cytomegalovirus and possesses an activity of protein - kinase. The detection of the reaction is then effected by immunofluorescence.
