The present invention is directed to antibacterial compositions for mammals including human comprising as effective ingredients cephalosporin derivatives represented by formula: CHEM wherein n is 1.0 to 4.0, or non-toxic salts thereof. They are excellent antibacterial agents for mammals including human. The cephalosporin derivatives have low toxicity.
