An NH fuse load disconnector strip is described, consisting of a lower part, two side parts mounted thereon and in each case one switch cover per pole, which can be displaced parallel to the lower part in a shaft-like cut-out shape in the side parts. In order that no arcs and/or switching gases emerge at the front in the direction of the operator when disconnections are carried out when a current load is present, it is provided according to the invention that the four side walls of the switching covers are extended in the direction of the lower part so far that, in the disconnected position, they overlap with the side walls and their compartment walls. It is furthermore proposed according to the invention that lateral guide strips on the switching covers engage with spring-loaded sliding bolts so that a high force, which can be determined precisely, must be applied by the operator for connection, which force is released immediately on reaching its threshold value.
