Manipulation device for diagnostic X=ray appts. - uses detector for command sequence entered via manual operating control to activate electric motor

The manipulation device uses a manually operated control element (7) coupled to an electric motor (4) for moving the x-ray appts.. A detector (9,10) responds to two successive commands being provided by the control element, the first of which is sort and the second of which is long to activate the electric motor. Pref. the detector uses a logic circuit group (10) connected to the control element and to a monostable multivibrator (9). ADVANTAGE - Ensures manipulator only responds to deliberate operation of control element, for operator safety.
