PURPOSE:To simplify application by causing molten paint in a paint tank carried on a cart to flow out of a slit of the tank onto a road surface so that a belt-like object of a specified width is formed, at the same time lifting up the slit periodically to form raised portions, and spraying glass beads for adhesion to the belt-like object. CONSTITUTION:Heat-molten paint in a paint tank 3 is supplied from a slit 4 disposed on a side of a cart 1 and vertically movable to form a belt-like object 6 of a specified width by flowing the paint on the road surface 15 while moving the cart on wheels 2. A raised portions are made by increasing the flow out rate of the paint by periodically lifting the slit 4 with linked motion with a lever 7 by not operating the lever 7 and bringing a sliding contact portion 28 into sliding contact with a projection of a cam 6 while the sliding contact portion of a lever 24 is caused to be in sliding contact with a plain pulley by the rotation of the cam 6. Large- and small-grain bead spraying rolls 32, 33 are rotated in linked motion with the wheels 2 to cause the beads to be sprayed on and adhere to the belt-like object 16. Thus a road surface indication line of high reflection effect due to the beads is obtained.
