Thereby, in comparison with the case when using the luminance image, a value of a pixel corresponding to the shade road surface marking becomes large compared with the value of the pixel corresponding to a sunny paved road surface, and in a whole image, the value of the pixel corresponding to the road surface marking and the paved road surface comes to separate into two, and the road surface marking can be recognized with a high degree of accuracy.
