The designation address search manner null in the disk

摘要

PURPOSE: To surely search a designated address so that an information reading point of a pickup does not jump out of an information recording part in the case of executing a search by step feed. ;CONSTITUTION: When a pickup is subjected to step feed continuously in the same direction toward a designated address, whether an address to be sent next exceeds the maximum or the minimum address of an information recording part or not is diseriminated by the present set step quantity and when it is judged that it does not exceed, the step feed is continued at the present set step quantity as it is, and when it is judged that it exceeds, the step feed is continued while decreasing the present step quantity until it is judged that it does not exceed. Even in the case the address in the vicinity of the maximum or the minimum address is designated, it is prevented that the step quantity is too large so that the pickup jumps out of the information recording part of a disk, and the designated address is searched surely and quickly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
