PURPOSE: To recognize even time-series variation of individual items in a Pareto graph by selecting data of a desired item in the Pareto graph while the Pareto graph is displayed, and displaying a trend graph based upon the time-series data of the item. ;CONSTITUTION: When the trend graph is displayed so as to see time variation of a defect A, the part showing the defect A is selected by arranging a painter 10 in the Pareto graph (a). Consequently, the display screen is switched to the trend graph showing the generation state in a specific period of the defect A, for example, between May 1st and May 16th as shown by (b). Here, a hair line cursor 11 in the trend graph is moved to the position of May 10th to select the date, and then the display screen is switched to a Pareto graph of May 10th as shown by (c). Thus, the trend graph showing the time variation of desired data is displayed in the display state of the Pareto graph to easily recognize the information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
