PURPOSE: To provide a specimen diluting and dispensing machine which can safely, highly accurately, and highly efficiently perform a plurality of works, the specimen dispensing work, reagent dispensing work, and specimen diluting work, by one machine and a specimen diluting method. ;CONSTITUTION: A multi-nozzle unit 21 is provided with multiple nozzles, can freely move on a stage 2, and is constituted so that the unit 21 can dispense a specimen, reagent, or diluting solution after sucking them from test tubes 4. A moving means moves the unit 21 and an actuating means selectively moves the multiple nozzles so that multiple kinds of works can be executed at the same position on the stage 2.
