Milk and related raw materials containing lactoperoxidase, secretory component, and lactoferrin were contacted with a cation exchanger to adsorb them in the exchanger. The adsorbed components were then eluted separately and successively with aqueous solutions or buffers having various ionic strengths and PHs to give highly pure lactoperoxidase, secretory component, and lactoferrin, respectively. Lactoperoxidase, secretory component, and lactoferrin can be obtained with simple process in high purity and yield.
