The rods (3) narrow to one end and have a number of crossways directed side flanges. They are so orientated that they extend at right angles towards the direction in which crack formation can be expected to occur in the plate (1) during its use. The plate has a through circular hole (2) and with which the expected crack formation directions are essentially radial in relation to the hole. The reinforcement rods (23) are so arranged that they form concentric rings around the hole with the narrowing ends directed in the same direction, whereby the rods in each ring overlap each other some what in the rod length direction. The reinforcement rods are formed as threaded, headed screws of highly alloyed or ferritic steel.
