A valve disk (10) has a sealing ring (16) arranged in a ring-shaped gap for closing the bores (15, 15') in a fluid-tight manner. The sealing ring (16) is bilaterally symmetrical and has a fluid guiding channel (19) at the side away from the pressure that opens into a gap (18) between two sealing lips (17) of the sealing ring (16). The sealing ring (16) is held in a cavity in the ring-shaped groove (13). An overpressurized gas in the bores (15, 16') can press so strongly the sealing ring (16) against the bearing surface (20) that a gap is created between the flank (22) of the groove and the sealing ring (16), through which the overpressurized gas may either flow directly out into the atmosphere or at the bottom of the groove into the gap (18), and then through the fluid guiding channel (19) into the atmosphere.
