leukemias are characterized by the presence of the philadelphia chromosome and the expression of the bcr abl hybrid gene were treated with oligonucleotides complementary to a sequence encoding control target of transcription product of the mrna bcr abc junction breakdown.we treat patients with chronic myeloid leukemia and acute lymphocytic leukemia ph1 positive, sequencing, first of all, the junction breakdown of the human bcr abl and administering anti coding oligonucleotides complementary to each other. the oligonucleotides were designed to be specifically hybridized with the junction breakdown in rcc.without any significant cross hybridization with c-abl translocation sequence in reverse. the processing may include in vivo administration of oligonucleotides and anti coding processing as the ex vivo purging of bone marrow.
