Process for the treatment of liquid pig manure and product thus obtained

Liq. pig manure is converted to fertiliser by: (a) adding to the manure a soln. of P2O5 and K2O; (b) mixing the soln. with a prod. which can retain water, in the form required in the final prod., to give a shaped, conditioned fertiliser, which is (c) dried. The ratio of P2O5 and K2O in the soln. is such as to give the required ratio of N, P and K in the final prod., and is a function of the nature of the soil and the method of application.
