The low ferrite decarburized and high toughness molten spring steel for automotive suspension coil spring is composed of 0.3-0.6 wt% carbon, 2.51-3.50 wt% silicon, 0.4-1.5 wt% manganese, 0.4-1.5 wt% chromium, 0.05-2.0 wt% molybdenum, 0.05-0.5 wt% vanadium and niobium for enhancing deformation resistance, less than 0.02 wt% phosphorus, less than 0.02 wt% sulfur, 2.0-5.0 wt% nickel for increasing toughness and the balance of iron and other inevitable impurities.
