Process for solubilization treatment of insoluble fused heterogenic protein comprising bringing insoluble fused heterogenic protein produced in host cells into contact with an aqueous acid solution in the presence of a protein denaturant. The process further comprising elevating the pH value of the solution by addition of alkali substance and lowering the pH.
