PURPOSE: To provide a planar heat generating material and a planar heat generating body which is easy to manufacture and sufficiently prevented from local heat. ;CONSTITUTION: A specific resistance value in a partial area 2A on a planar heat generating material 2 which is formed by molding heating composition containing thermoplastic resin and conductive particles into a planar shape is higher than that in the other area 2B. If more heat radiation occurs in the partial area 2A on the planar heat generating material 2 than that in the other area 2B, a difference in heat radiation is compensated by a difference in heat generating value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
