摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the thermal shock resistance of an oven material by compounding highly pure Al2O3 with monoclinic ZrO2 in a specific ratio, adding a particular or fibrous resin to the composition and subsequently calcining the prepared raw oven material into a porous material. CONSTITUTION:80-90wt.% of highly pure Al2O3 is compounded with 20-10wt.% of highly pure monoclinic ZrO2 and further with a particular or fibrous resin in a slurry state. The prepared raw oven material is shaped into a prescribed oven material shape and subsequently calcined in a calcination over to provide a porous thermal shock resistant oven material for calcination.
