JOINT OF LATTICE FORM REINFORCING MEMBER AND CONNECTING STRUCTURE

摘要

PURPOSE: To conduct a strong and simple connection of lattice-form reinforcing members with each other which are made of fiber-reinforced plastics(FRP). ;CONSTITUTION: Reinforcing members 1, 1 to be connected are pinched surface to surface by a pair of coupling plates 11a, 11b in the condition that the ends of the members 1, 1 are butted together or overlapped, and the coupling plates are fastened to each other by fastening tools 12, and thus a joint 10 is completed. At least one of the coupling plates 11a is provided on the inner surface with projections 13 which are engaged by grating holes 2 of the reinforcing members, and through holes 14, 15 are provided to admit insertion of the fastening tools in the positions of projections. The connection part of the joint structure concerned is cemented for consolidation by using this joint 10 and filling the grating holes 2 of the reinforcing members 1 with a self-hardening material which is left hardening and integrated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
