PURPOSE: To provide a cup mislaying prevention device for automatic dispenser capable of detecting the presence of a cup even when a light cup is placed by attaching a cup placing base to one end of a balance provided with a counter weight movably attached to a screw part provided on the other end part and adjusting the counter weight so as to slightly surpass the push-up force of the balance by the weight of the cup placing base. ;CONSTITUTION: A pin 9 passed through the approximate center of the balance 6 for which the cup placing base 2 is attached to one end part and the counter weight 7 is attached to the other end part in the horizontal direction is supported by pin receivers from both sides of the balance 6. When the cup 4 is placed on the cup placing base 2, the cup placing base 2 is lowered until it is brought into contact with a stopper 8, a switch 5 provided on the lower side of the cup placing base 2 is operated and the presence of the cup is detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
