PURPOSE:To enable automatic quantity measuring water distribution with high accuracy in the case that water is distributed from a main water channel under high water pressure to a branch water channel. CONSTITUTION:A water distribution tank 22 is divided into a water tank 4 and an auxiliary water tank 6 by a partition wall 7 having a water opening. A water distribution pipe 2 connected to a main water channel 1 is lead to the tank 4. A connecting rod 9 is passed through a discharge water port 5 of the pipe 2 so as to be vertically movable. A float 11 is provided on the water surface of the tank 4. The float is fixed to the connecting rod in such a manner that the fixing point can be changed. A jet energy absorbing plate 13 is mounted to the lower end of the connecting rod. The outer periphery of the upper surface of the plate 13 is formed into a water scattering part. The part is divided into a plurality of sections in a radial manner with respect to the connecting rod so that each of the sections is formed alternately into a protrusion 15a and a recess 15b, wherein the protrusion is formed so as to be made gradually higher outwardly and the recess is made lower outwardly.
