PURPOSE: To effectively prevent an automatic vending machine from falling down by providing a batten member which is coupled integrally with an upper plane body with a bolt and a nut and has its rear end part in contact with the periphery of the lower end of the front surface of the automatic vending machine. ;CONSTITUTION: The upper plane body 1 has its rear end part 1b in contact with the periphery of the lower end part of the front surface part A of the automatic vending machine and an intermediate stood body 2 droops from the front end part of the upper plane body 1. Further, an apron-shaped lower plane body 3 projects forward from the front end part of the intermediate stood body at right angles and expanded on the same plane with the bottom part of the adjuster leg B of the automatic vending machine. Further, the upper plane body 1, intermediate stood body 2, and lower plane body 3 are joined by welding, etc., to form a falling preventing device main body 4, and the joint part is reinforced with a rib 5. Then the batten member 6 is superposed on the lower side part of the upper plane body 1 and integrally coupled 7 with the upper plane body 1 by using a bolt and a nut.
