PURPOSE: To provide the subject auxiliary for making boiled eggs by using a microwave oven, simple in structure, capable of efficiently making boiled eggs, and free from any danger such as bursting. ;CONSTITUTION: This electromagnetic cooking of boiled eggs is carried out in such a manner that a support vessel 11 made of synthetic resin with thermal insulation and provided with an opening for putting eggs therethrough into the vessel and a lid 12 to be superposed upon the opening are prepared, water- absorbed sheets of paper 17 are held between the vessel and lid and eggs are supported so as to be allowed to float from both the vessel and lid, and the resultant system as a whole is then electromagnetically heated. The apparatus for this method is made up of the support vessel and lid mentioned above, and furnished with a holder for supporting the eggs in a fashion described above and a support member (an inner lid) for the water-absorbed sheets of paper 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
