PURPOSE: To generate a lot of floating solid matter to effectively perform the separation and recovery of various kinds of industrial sewerage, organic matter and the like by forcibly feeding water in which air is to be dispersed and dissolved and drawing out semi-treated water from the intermediate part of a vertical wall surface pan to use it by circulation. ;CONSTITUTION: A scraping plate 2 driven by an electric motor 3 is arranged in the upper part of a floating separation tank 1 and the floating separated material is scraped out to a scum hopper 13. An inner cylinder 12 is arranged in the central part of the floating separation tank 1, and an introducing pipe 11 is opened to the lower part of the inner cylinder 12. To the introducing pipe 11, a feeding pipe from an air dissolving tank 7 is further connected together with a raw water feeding pipe 4 through a pressure reducing valve 10. A pressurizing pump 5 is installed before the air dissolving tank 7 to feed the treated water from a pressurizing water pipe 23 to the air dissolving tank 7 together with air from an air suction pipe 6, and also an exhaust pipe 20 having air discharge valve 8 is arranged on the air dissolving tank 7. On the other hand, the pressurizing water pipe 23 is connected to a water collecting pipe 22 arranged in the intermediate part of the floating separation tank 1.
