LINEAR TRANSMITTER TRAINING METHOD AND APPARATUS

A linear transmitter having both an open loop and aclosed loop training mode capability functions toschedule and facilitate these training modes in a mannerthat reduces adjacent channel splatter. A trainingwaveform can be utilized to enhance these operationalobjectives. Scheduling of the open loop and closed looptraining modes can be ordered, in a TDM system, in avariety of ways.
