FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: products: peptide derivatives of the formula (I). Synthesis is carried out by oxidation of peptide derivative of the formula (II) followed by if necessary sulfoamination of compound where R₃ - carboxy- or ester-group, conversion of carboxylic acid ester-group to the corresponding carboxy-group by hydrolysis. Pharmaceutical composition inhibiting human leukocyte elastase activity has derivatives of peptide (I) as an active substance at the dose 100-250 mg per unit and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
