FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: aircraft emergency braking device has main cable 10 on surface of landing strip whose ends are connected with braking members 23, command strip whose ends are connected with braking members 23, command cable 9 which is parallel to main cable 10 and is connected with it by means of connecting members evenly distributed over their length; connecting members are made in form of triangular rods 1 with unit 8 at first vertex; unit 8 is used for holding command cable 9; unit 11 for securing main cable 10 is provided at second vertex; third vertex is secured on surface of landing strip by means of cylindrical hinge 16 in such way that when leg of nose undercarriage of aircraft is moving and raise main cable 10 to level of catching it by legs of main undercarriage of aircraft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of catching the aircraft and reliable raising of main cable to level of catching the under- carriage leg in case of run of nose undercarriage wheel on one of rods. 7 cl, 16 dwg
