Refuse incinerator flue gas decontamination with unslaked incinerator slag

Sepn. of harmful impurities, esp. Cl2, HCl and SO2, from refuse incinerator flue gas (I) involves mixing (I) with a sorbent (II) contg. metal oxides and sepg. the reaction prod. in a filter. The novelty is that (II) is dry slag from the incinerator, which has not been slaked in a water bath and has been freed from Fe, other metals and interfering substances and then ground.
