Processing and utilisation of slag from refuse incinerators

This contribution deals with the thermal treatmentof residual waste as carried out at the MVB Borsigstra#beta#eplant in Hamburg. Particular emphasis is placed on themechanical treatment. Information on the potential uses of theslag is given at the end of the paper.
