PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ethylene copolymer composition for film casting excellent in transparency, elasticity modulus and mechanical strength by blending a specific ethylene-α-olefin copolymer with a crystallization promoter in specific ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a copolymer of ethylene and a 4-20C α-olefin such 1-butene, etc., having (i) density of 0.880-0.950g/cm3 , (ii) melt flow rate of 0.1-100g/10min at 190 deg.C under 2.16kg load, and (iii) the temperature of maximum peak [Tm( deg.C)] observed by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) and density [d(g/cm3 )] which satisfy the equation; Tm400×d-250 and (B) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of a crystallization promoter such as metallic resinates (e.g.; sodium rosinate, etc.) expressed in formula I and II (R1 -R3 are each H, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl).
