JACQUARD LOOM AND CONTROL OF THE JACQUARD LOOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Jacquard loom enabling an improved profitable operation. ;SOLUTION: This Jacquard loom 20 has a loom 1 and a Jacquard device 2 which are connected to each other through mechanical transmission devices 4q, 4b, 5 and driven with a common motor 3. The Jacquard loom 20 is further provided with another driving device 8 acting on at least the Jacquard device 2 and with at least one of a sensor 7 for detecting the rotation angle of the Jacquard device 2 and a sensor 6 for detecting a torque existing between the loom 1 and the Jacquard device 2. The sensors 6, 7 are connected to a controller 9 for controlling the driving device 8 so that either one of the fluctuation of the torque and the fluctuation of the rotation speed is reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
