FITTING STRUCTURE OF LOCK UNIT OF POPPING-UP LOCK HANDLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a lock unit of a popping-up lock handle device which withstands unfair unlocking by an external tensile force against the lock unit. ;SOLUTION: A large width fixed ring 11 in which a screw cutting is applied at the inner peripheral face and two peripheral grooves 10 are formed at the outer peripheral face, is screwed in the cylinder 9a of the lock unit 9 until the front face of the fixed ring 11 comes into contact with the rear face of the head of the lock unit 9. The lock unit 9 is fitted until the rear face of the fixed ring 11 comes into contact with the front face of the locating step 12 formed as a recess at the central part of the inner peripheral face of the handle shaft 7a. A U-shaped ring lock 16 composed of a pair of legs 14 in which peripheral projections 13 meshing with the peripheral grooves 10 of the fixed ring 11 are formed at the inside face, and a U-shaped recess, is radially inserted from a lock hole provided at the side face of the handle shaft 7a to engage the peripheral projections 13 with the peripheral grooves 10. A fitting screw is inserted into a protruded screw hole of the handle shaft 7a fixed to the recess from the pierced hole of the U-shaped recess and the lock unit 9 and the handle 7 are fixed integrally.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
