PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a switching means independently of an offset printer so that individual switching operations are optimized to a numbering and imprinting unit. ;SOLUTION: A cylinder for receiving an operation of a pressure fluid belongs to an eccentric bearing 6 of a numbering cylinder 3 as a switching means for engaging and disengaging an operating position. A roller which can be brought into contact with a stopper position adjustable on the bearing 6 is connected to both the eccentric bearings 6, 7 connected with one another through a synchronizing shaft 18, a lever and a connecting rod. A control shaft 10 is supported in an eccentric bearing sleeve coupled to the bearings 6, 7 by a lever at both sides. The switching means for the numbering unit is moved to follow the cylinder 3 in the case of engaging with the printing position or setting a sheet thickness position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
