PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the peelability of a label material or a label piece from a mount by temporarily sticking a plurality of label pieces formed by cutting a label material on the side of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer thereof to the mount. ;SOLUTION: In an apparatus 11 for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive label 10, the label raw material 12 supplied from a supply means 13 is separated into a mount 2 and a label material 3 by a label mount separation means 14 and the label material 3 is punched and cut by a label cutting means 16 while being transferred through a label transfer passage 23 to form label pieces 12A and a refuse removing part 32. At this time, in the label cutting means 16, the cutting blade 29 of a die cut roll 25 penetrates into the label material on the side of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 so as to cut the same. The mount 2 and the label material 3 meet with each other in a label temporarily re-bonding means 17 and the label pieces 12A and the refuse removing part 32 are again temporarily stuck to the mount 2.
