DRIVE CONTROLLING METHOD FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE DRIVEN BY SERVO MOTOR

PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of the output torque of a servo motor. ;CONSTITUTION: The movable unit of an injection molding machine is driven by a servo motor M1. The positional deviation of the difference between a position command (a) and the feedback pulse (b) from a pulse encoder for detecting the rotating amount of the motor M1 is obtained by an error register 21. A torque command (e) is obtained by an error amplifier 24 from the speed deviation of the difference between the speed command (d) obtained by D-A converting the deviation by a D-A converter 22 and the feedback signal of the speed. The command (e) is limited to a predetermined value or less by a torque limiter 14, its output is used as the torque command to the motor. Since the torque command to the motor M1 is limited to the predetermined value or less, the output torque of the motor is limited to the predetermined value or less so that excess output is not given to resin or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
