PURPOSE: To surely inform a person, who carries a gas detection and informing device of gas generation and also inform that the person carrying the device can not move at all. ;CONSTITUTION: Gas sensors 1 and 2 are fitted to the helmet and belt of the carrying person and output gas detection signals S1 and S2 respectively when a gas of a dangerous concentration is detected. A movement sensor 3 sends out a movement detection signal S3 when receiving acceleration. A timer 4 is reset on receiving the movement detection signal S3 and counts constant- period clock pulses and judges that the movement of the carrying person stops when reaching a specific count number, thereby outputting a movement stop detection signal S4. A control part 14 when receiving the gas detection signal S1 or S2 or the movement stop detection signal S4 sends driving signals S7, S9, and S11 to a speaker driving part 7, a stroboscopic unit driving part 9, and a vibrator driving part 11 to alarm the carrying person through sound, light, and vibration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
