PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight post with a strength necessary for the sporting post by forming it of a fiber-reinforced composite material, and having strongness for bearing high bending moment. ;SOLUTION: This sporting post as a tennis net post comprises a main construction 1 formed of a fiber-reinforced composite material, a pulley part 2 for expanding the net and a wire winding part 3. As a main structural member, carbon fibers with a high elastic modulus having a specific tensile elastic modulus are used, and a seat prepreg using an epoxy resin as the matrix is molded in the shape of a pipe having a specific thickness, two hollow pipes with different calibers closely fitted to each other are fitted in a telescope type, and various kinds of necessary members are mounted to assemble the tennis net post. By this constitution, flexure can be controlled to the minimum extent, and as a long pole easily influenced by wind, it can be effectively used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
