PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the cutter bit replacing work of a shield machine. ;SOLUTION: Hydraulic cylinder type stoppers 19 are provided at both tip sections of spokes 14 protrudably from end faces, and lock holes 11a, 15a engaged with the stoppers 19 are provided on the side face of a center shaft member 11 and an outer peripheral ring 15. After the cutting work of a working face is conducted to the prescribed distance via the rotative drive of a cutter face 3, the fixed state of the spokes 14 is released, they are rotated by 180°, the cutter bits 16 fitted at the outer portions in the radial direction of the spokes 14 and the cutter bits 16 fitted to the inner portions in the radial direction are switched and fixed, then the cutting work of the working face is continued.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
