PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the life of the entire finger cutter with a side blade cutter by suppressing the occurrence of the defect of a butt surface corner by the side blade cutter without lowering the cutting efficiency. ;SOLUTION: A butt surface cutter 10 as a side blade cutter is used, and combined with a finger cutter 20A. The finger oblique surface 42 of a material 40 to be cut is cut by the four blades 22a of the cutter 20A, and only the butt surface is cut by the cutter 10 having 12 blades at an interval of the blades of 36° or less. Thus, the occurrence of the defect which exceeds the allowable range at the corner of the butt surface can be prevented. Since the blade of the finger cutter for cutting the oblique surface can suppress the occurrence of the burning of the oblique surface at the time of cutting and the wear of the blade, the life including the butt surface cutter can be enhanced.
