PURPOSE:To make the increased installation of fluorescent lamps due to the increase of the number of stages in the title case unnecessary by a method wherein adaptors are provided on the fore and surfaces of left and right side plates of a main body casing while straight-tune type fluorescent lamps are provided in up-and-down direction through the adaptors. CONSTITUTION:An inside illumination device 5 is constituted of adaptor plates 51 and reflecting covers 52, extended up-and-down and fixed integrally with the fore end surfaces of fore fixing frames 12 through small screws 53, and lamp holders 54 arranged on the adaptor plates 51 in the direction of up-and-down. Straight tube type fluorescent lamps 6 are mounted so as to be supported by the lamp holders 54 and illuminate the inside of a showcase 3. Transparent covers 55, supported by the adaptor plates 51 and the reflecting covers 52, are provided. In this constitution, the fluorescent lamps 6, retained on the fore end surfaces of the side plates 2 of the main body case 1, illuminate the inside of the case 3 uniformly in up-and-down direction from the left and right fore parts of the casing. Accordingly, respective one piece of left and right fluorescent lamps 6 are enough to illuminate whereby electric power consumption and the generating amount of heat thereof can be reduced very much.
